Matrix Valley, supplier of clean, affordable drinking water in Malaysia, joins PLUS tomorrow after raising £609,000 at 5.25p.
The Malaysian Ministry of Finance has a seven per cent stake in Matrix Valley, which claims a 70 per cent share of that country’s water-vending machine market and dispenses water at the equivalent of 3p a litre. The company, whose adviser is the colourful Andrew Greystoke’s Atlantic Law, also operates in Singapore, Pakistan and Indonesia and has franchise deals in Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.
Kevin Loh, founder and chief executive officer of Matrix Valley, said its PLUS listing will ‘help us accelerate our expansion plans in the developing regions of the world’.
