Pub giant Young and Co’s Brewery (YNGA) delivered a pre-tax profit of 17% amid restructuring, shedding assets and acquisitions.

ADDGold and copper explorer Bezant Resources (BZT) is beginning attract attention after encouraging initial exploration results in Argentina. There are are suggestions in the market of a potential deal with a major gold mining company.
AIM-quoted Bezant, steered by executive chairman Gerry Nealon (brother of Ed Nealon of Aquarius Platinum fame), raised £4.75m at 50p earlier this year to fund its Eureka copper and gold project in Argentina. The company, which says it is in advanced talks with a 'preferred acquirer' of its Mankyan low-grade copper and gold project in the Philippines, is preparing to start the second phase of exploration at Eureka after positive early indications.
Recommended by Growth Company Investor at 20.5p two years ago, Bezant shares trade at 34.75p, having touched 73.5p. They could soon become a livelier market again.
