Gulf starts at Sheikh Adi-2 25/05/2012
Iraq-focused oil explorer Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) has begun drilling at the Sheikh Adi-2 well in the Sheikh Adi block.
DP Poland (DPP), the franchisee for Domino's Pizza in Poland, has announced the opening of its second store in the country.
The AIM-quoted company, which joined the junior market last year in a float worth £6.5 million, opened the store in central Warsaw, noting that it was on a street called AL. Jana Pawla II, which the company described as a 'densely populated delivery area'.
DP CEO Peter Shaw – the former marketing director of coffeeheaven – enthused that the 'store rollout programme is gathering pace', adding that the third store is 'nearly complete', with 'construction about to commence on the fourth'. The company's first Polish Domino's outlet opened in February and Shaw remarked that it is 'starting to build our reputation for great delivery pizza'.
Growth Company Investor recommended shares in the company following the float at 50p, and after the opening of its first store this February we again recommended DP at 75.5p. The shares currently trade at 85p, having gained 2p this morning. The company has strong potential for further growth as, unlike most of Western Europe and the Americas, Poland has little to no Italian community and very limited experience of pizza delivery services. We think the shares could have further to go and therefore reiterate our speculative buy rating.
