Iraq-focused oil explorer Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) has begun drilling at the Sheikh Adi-2 well in the Sheikh Adi block.
AIM-quoted pharma minnow NextGen Group (NGG) has declared that it has completed a commercial reorganisation
Joining the company are Dr Neal Siegel as director of Assay Development, a new position. Siegel joins NextGen from Sword Diagnostics and will lead 'assay delivery, validation and quality control.'
Meanwhile Glenn Barney, formerly at US company Decision Biomarkers takes over as vice-president of business development while Hiroshi Saito takes over as director of marketing having joined from internet and digital marketing agency Optiem.
Chairman Klaus Rosenau opined that the reorganisation brings the company 'an increased commercial focus' to its biomarker business arguing that the next phase of its development is 'the launch of a human plasma assay targeting several oncology disease areas' something he added would come in 'the first half' of the year.
