Warning from Sarantel

Sarantel group (SLG) a manufacturer of filtering antennas for mobile and wireless devices, warns of sales for the period to 18 February were 'slower than expected.'

The AIM-quoted concern remarks in a trading update that, following the fundraising at 1.25p in December,  'initial sales this financial year have so far been slower than expected' . However, the statement adds that the board remains 'confident' that 'performance over the remainder of the financial year will improve.'

Following the announcement the shares in the Wellingborough-headquartered venture have fallen 32.8 per cent and currently trade at 1.83p.

With interim results expected soon we advise investors to stay clear for the time being. Avoid.
