Bombed-out Henderson Morley is raising £0.3m to as it negotiates on deals
Anti-viral treatment specialist Henderson Morley has raised £300,000 at a discounted 0.125p pending conclusion of ‘revenue bearing agreements’.
The bombed-out Birmingham-based company, which floated on AIM nine years ago with a herpes treatment and is now also working on animal vaccines, says the money raised will provide working capital while it continues to negotiate these deals. AIM-quoted Henderson, which lost £1.1 million in the year to April, complains the deals ‘have taken longer than anticipated to conclude’.
Steered by chairman Andrew Knight, the company tapped the market for £625,000 in June, while developing treatments for eel and feline herpes in its drive for the animal market. Originally floated at 4p, Henderson Morley shares now trade at 0.33p, valuing the company at £3.3 million.
