San Leon for AIM

29/09/2008

Dublin-based San Leon Energy, boasting a clutch of oil and gas assets in Holland, Morocco and the USA, is coming to AIM.

Handled by broker Daniel Stewart, and introduced at 37p, the company is valued at £100 million. Chaired by financier Oisin Fanning, San Leon claims a prospective resource of 195.6 million barrels and has a 0.6 per cent royalty on the Dutch Amstel field, which the company suggests could yield more than £2 million a year net from 2010.

San Leon’s portfolio includes 22.5 per cent of Morocco’s 13,434 sq km Tarfaya exploration licence and stakes in the same country’s Zag reconnaissance licence and the DJ Basin in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. Fanning says an AIM quotes will help the company raise capital and make acquisitions.
