GEONG in China bank deal

Content management software concern GEONG International has signed a £142,000 contract with China's Bank of Communication.

AIM-quoted GEONG says its local subsidiary GEONG Business Networks is to supply the Chinese banking group with a new version of its PortalAge products and solution, and to update the bank's 'Enterprise Information Portal'. Chief executive Wang Weidong says 'this contract yet again demonstrates GEONG is able to provide blue-chip organisations in China with leading edge, high quality solutions and services'.

At 23.5p, up 2p today, GEONG's shares value the company at £6.1 million.
