Secure communications specialist Software Radio Technology (SRT) is raising £4 million at 42p to develop its TETRA secure handset system.
AIM-quoted SRT, which is tapping into the Chinese and Korean military and police markets with TETRA and has high hopes in the USA for its AIS marine automatic identification system, will use some of the funds raised for TETRA, some for AIS and some for digital professional mobile radios. The first £3 million tranche of shares has already been issued and the remaining £1 million needs shareholder approval.
At 46p, down 0.5p this morning, SRT shares value the company at £36 million.
