The board of rural retailer Wynnstay has picked its replacement for long-time managing director Bernard Harris. Ken Greetham, currently general manager of the group’s agricultural division, is the chosen one.
It seems loyalty runs deep in the company, with Greetham’s ten years clearly a good mark against him if he accepts the post after the veteran Harris’s 28-year reign. Allied to this, he has 25 years of further experience in the industry under his belt.
‘Ken has an intimate knowledge of our business and has played a major role in the group’s successful development over many years,’ eulogised chairman John Davies. ‘I am confident that under his leadership Wynnstay will continue to build on the success it has achieved to date.’
