Broker and corporate adviser FinnCap has appointed industry veteran Naiem Hussain as its new director of finance.
Hussain has more than 20 years of city experience, having managed 60 companies and a portfolio of ventures listed on everything from the FTSE 250 to AIM and NASDAQ in his role as head of asset management at intellectual property and investment company Imperial Innovations.
He has also worked in a senior corporate finance role at merchant bank Close Brothers, where he specialized in the energy, chemicals and life sciences sectors and worked as head of asset management and investment. More recently, Hussain was managing director of corporate finance at Libertas Capital – specialising in renewables.
