Freeman brings Creon to AIM
Serial AIM player Jonathan Freeman has brought a venture named after the mythological Greek king of Thebes to AIM. Creon Corporation, a provider of mezzanine finance to small and medium-sized residential property developers, has joined the junior market after raising £1.49 million at 50p.
Freeman, a past executive of broker Beeson Gregory, is a colourful character and something of an AIM regular. He sits on the boards of two Guernsey-based investment plays – Cobra Capital and Equity Special Situations – as well as medical products outfit Futura Medical.
He also spent four years working on the creation and launch of the pan-European stock market EASDAQ, which was then taken over by NASDAQ.
