25/10/2011 Ben Jaglom

Debt management specialist Fairpoint Group has recruited John Gittins to be its finance director.

At 51, he is a graduate of the London School of Economics and qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen, the accounting firm brought down in the Enron scandal.

Gittins has worked at a number of companies, including recruitment concern Spring Group, outsourcing outfit Vertex Data Science and insolvency specialist Begbies Traynor Group. Chairman Matt Peacock says the company is ‘confident that his wide-ranging experience across a range of high-growth service businesses will allow him to make a valuable contribution to the group.’
