People: New CFO for Amiad

25/10/2011 Ben Jaglom

Israeli water filtration concern Amiad Filtration Systems has appointed Amir Harel as chief financial officer.

Harel joins Amiad from InSightec, a privately held Israeli ultrasound business where he worked as finance director and vice president from August 2005.

Amiad notes that Harel has ‘over 17 years of capital markets experience with several Israeli and international companies’, adding that he has been involved in activities that include ‘accounting, financial planning and controlling contract negotiation and investor relations’. He replaces previous CFO Rivka Kalmanzon.

Chairman Tal Yeshua enthuses that Harel’s ‘experience and skill set are well suited to facilitate Amiad’s development to the next level.’
