Ukrainian property developer XXI Century Investments has appointed Roman Nasirov as a non-executive director.
Nasirov joins as the representative of Renaissance Capital, the investment bank that is a shareholder in XXI. He replaces Adel Kambar, who has left Renaissance ‘to pursue other interests’.
Nasirov heads Central and Eastern Europe at Renaissance and also runs its equity and debt product group. He is a graduate in law and finance from the Kyiv National University of Economics who, prior to working at Renaissance, was employed at broker Cantor Fitzgerald/BGC in London.
XXI chairman Lev Partskhaladze says he wants to ‘welcome Roman Nasirov to the board as a representative of Renaissance Capital’, which he describes as a ‘key shareholder and supporter of the company’. Partskhaladze adds that he believes that Nasirov ‘will provide valuable assistance to XXI Century in capitalising on its strategic opportunities’.
