People: New cue for Baldwin

15/11/2010 Robert Tyerman

Tim Baldwin, the ex-stockbroker and corporate financier running former AIM shell RAM Investment Group, has promoted the company’s diverse activities to a wider world by securing the role of ‘out-of-home media partner’ for Power Snooker, the quick-game event launched recently at London’s O2 Arena, for its subsidiary RAM Vision. His AIM-quoted company is also sponsoring the event, which aims to liven up the game of snooker and attract a new breed of fans, with the support of world snooker champions such as Ronnie O’Sullivan.

RAM Vision provided edited highlights of the opening game on digital screens in 42 UK shopping centres. Punters, who have seen the shares fall from 35p in 1996 to 5.25p today, must hope that Baldwin will pot the black.
