Chinese AIM play Jetion Solar Holdings has appointed Dacheng Wu as a non-executive director. As deputy director and secretary of the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society and consultant to China’s new Energy Lighting Committee, he brings experience, expertise and connections to the Jetion board.
Wu previously headed the Qinghai Provincial New Energy Research Institute and was executive office director of the People’s Republic’s ‘National Development and Reform Committee / World Bank / Global Environment Facility China Renewable Energy Development Programme’. Jetion chairman Gabriel Kow says he is ‘delighted’ with this appointment, adding, ‘Mr Wu has extensive experience in the PV industry and has been researching PV energy for the past 25 years.
‘We look forward to harnessing his in-depth knowledge of the industry to continue to grow our business and strengthen our technological advantage.’
