AIM-quoted network monitoring solutions specialist Endace has unveiled sales and marketing man Mark Giles as a new non-executive director.
Giles, a relatively youthful 47 and well versed in all matters technological and telecommunicative, currently chairs First Mobile New Zealand, and has previously held senior management roles at IBM and New Zealand board level positions with both mobile phones giant Vodafone and also Alcatel.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Riley, Endace CEO, lauded the newcomer’s ‘focus, insight and understanding of the market’, qualities which should help the company grow.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, and with offices spanning the UK, US and Singapore, Endace provides its customers with high-performance traffic analysis and network security, helping them improve service and security and meet with regulatory compliance.
Floated on AIM in 2005 at an issue price of 162p, Endace shares, as high as 278.5p last year, have lately drifted to 245p, at which they price the company at £36.7 million
