IT entrepreneur Santanu Nandy has brought PLUS-quoted its first Indian company. He runs Arrowpoint Technologies, a leading pensions and retirement software concern that has raised £120,000 at 13p through St Helen’s Capital and now commands a market value of £26 million.
Arrowpoint, which owns operations in India and the USA, owns US defined benefit pension plan software and services provider Lynchval, Connecticut-based specialist staff provider KeyTech, and Arrowpoint Technologies Private, a pension plan development, support and conversion company based in Chennai. Last year, the group reported operating profits of £330,000 on turnover of nearly £10 million.
Lynchval has recently expanded into providing legal structuring, financial analysis and support, and actuarial projections and services to states, counties and municipalities in India. Technical integration is another new string to its bow.
Nandy may now be a PLUS company chief, but he does have experience of the larger corporate scene. He was previously a director of Novasoft Information Technology (Europe), where he led one of the UK’s largest enterprise resource planning operations, and was a vice president of Reliance Infocomm.
