The minimally-invasive medical products developer has linked up with Genzyme France. The contract, worth £190,000 in the first year, is to produce a device which will deliver Genzyme's Seprafilm anti-adhesion barrier during keyhole surgery. Seprafilm stops internal organs sticking to the abdominal wall during surgery. The contract will be managed by SI's Ion division, which offers design and manufacturing services both for in-house projects and outsourced contracts.
