Specialised broking company Seascope has announced the possibility of a merger with shipbroking company Braemar. The process is currently only at the due diligence stage. It has been proposed that the transaction will be conducted on a share for share exchange basis. Braemar shareholders will exchange their existing shares for Seascope ones on an as yet undecided ratio. Following the completion of the merger, Seascope will retain its LSE listing.
