Interim pre-tax profits at this Devon-based pub operator slumped 10% to £749,000, on turnover down 3% to £4.5m. The uninspiring outfit attributed this performance to the return of 4 pubs from management to tenancy, a bizarre arrangement whereby Heavitree is not collecting rent from some houses, and problems with the pension fund. Full year results are expected to be flat - again.
