Shares in this electronic component manufacturer have perked up considerably since it joined the ranks of techMARK in November. And Densitron has been able to repay investors in kind by announcing a significant jump in profit for the year to December. On flat turnover of £38m, the group achieved a dramatic rise in pre-tax profits to £4.3m (£605,000 last time). The improvement was due to the net profit of £4m it made on the £8m sale of its microwave subsidiary in the spring of '99.
