The Israeli investment and incubation business has suffered a rough 1999 as one of its three investee companies had a poor year. ITL Product Testing, which test medical gadgets produced by Truphatek, another of the Cresco companies, saw turnover drop by 10% in the year thanks to a decline in the Israeli export market. The other two companies both had quiet years, although aquarium products distributor AquaTech managed to improve sales after a slow start to the year. In the year to 31 December 1999, turnover dropped from $8.86m to $8.40m while the loss after tax rose from $390,000 to $909,000.
