Golf Club applauded its forward looking, growth orientated managerial style for a 42% increase in like-for-like club sales and a 36% improvement in golfing membership. These factors contributed to a 47% leap in turnover to £3.56m. Pre-tax profits more than trebled to £1.5m, buoyed by a £1.4m windfall from property disposals. The golf club operator added that it had identified five of its seven sites as suitable for the introduction of a health club.
